Trying to decide!

I am soon to finish the hexagon part of this quilt, which I started in 1998!

Now to find a fabric to use to square up the outside.

I don't want the irregular hexagon edges!

Some fabrics which I am considering may be too "modern" for the traditional look, but there are no "Quilt Police" ...so if I like the fabric I may use it! Stay happy, have fun!

Testing on my living room carpet and counting on the photos to help me choose!

First try pink...little circular pink flowers with green stems....just matches the green between the rosettes.

Then green..

Then blue with yellow flowers...

I think I am leaning towards the pink, as I have plenty of it....and of course, I am a "pink" person!

Especially this time of year! February.

Now to make the last 6 rosettes..I have several started..this could still take a long time! LOL!

Granddaughters need quilts!

These 2quilts are about to be shipped!

One is a disappearing four patch....

with a "Hello Kitty" border.

The other is a "plus sign" quilt in reds and aqua.

It has a peppermint striped binding.

The twins were escaping from their cribs and now adjusting to sleeping on a pallet. They will eventually each have a twin size big girl bed....below Sophie and Nina try out the pallet.

For now, their pink ruffled crib quilts, in a tangle here, are not quite big enough. The new quilts will be just right!

No matter where or what quilts...there is nothing sweeter than the sleeping child! Nina here.

An easy crib quilt is almost finished....

A friend is wondering about the pattern, so I was able to scan it .....

It is from Quilter's Newsletter Best Weekend Quilts, Autumn 2010.

Floral Parade Crib quilt

This would be a good crib quilt for a contemporary sophisticated nursery.
The blocks are 8" finished. The quilt top is 40 X 56. I may add a small border....
Perhaps this one will be for sale on ETSY soon?!!!
