This is a portion of a string-pieced romantic Valentine wallhanging....about love, friendship and family...including pets....
I will scan and photograph more of it as Valentine's Day comes. This was made in 1994.
This is an attempt to collect and post photos of any quilt which I have made over the last 30 years...just so I can have the joy of seeing them all come together! I owned a quilt shop for 11 years and made LOTS of quilts...some sold, some given to friends and family some donated to charity raffles, silent auctions etc...

Hi Lila, I mistakenly tought you were from Canada- I think I confused you with the other woman I commented on. Duh! and yes, I saw the St Bridget's Cross and love it. I have one hanging in my bedroom made of woven rushes. It's a favorite image and story of mine. I love the sense of devotion, dedication, and faith that arise from it.I love the reason youmade it. What better to symbolize a marriage in such a holy place. Thanks for stopping by-I really like your valentine wallhanging. It's lovely.
Cannot wait to see it..love friendship family and pets..yup that's what is important!
