
......but not that way after the first washing. The washing makes it pucker up and soften, it mkaes the edges ravel and fray. [ I was compelled to trim off most of the "strings"... It is standard crib size, 45'X60"].
This is an attempt to collect and post photos of any quilt which I have made over the last 30 years...just so I can have the joy of seeing them all come together! I owned a quilt shop for 11 years and made LOTS of quilts...some sold, some given to friends and family some donated to charity raffles, silent auctions etc...



I found this doily for 50 cents at a thrift store. it was stained but cleaned up nicely! Last night was time to make something with it...we've been snowed in so using what I had was necessary! I used some small red velveteen pieces, some batting scraps for stuffing and added dried lavendar in the middle of the stuffing. So it is a 9" X 11"
