Workshop with Sujata Shah!

We loved the opportunity to have this lovely quilt teacher at our guild!
Paula Mariedaughter and Sujata belong to a quilt group which shares a blog, "Rebels"!

This is a quilt by Sujata called "Waiting for Daffodils". The yellow greens and black and white prints remind her of spring!

A new queen-size bed requires a new quilt!

This is the quilt top I am working on for the new bed. I like the soft/bright pastels which go well with the honeydew colored walls.

The blocks are 8" blocks and the entire quilt has a contemporary, Zen-like, feminine feel!

Recently my friend Paula came by and I gave her 2 wall hangings from my collection. [I do have a lot of quilts!!!LOL!] Here I am holding her quilts!

Peaceful pastel

A quilt top, twin size, on the rail of our deck. It was inspired by the "Fengshui" pattern from

http://www.blueundergroundstudios.com .

Hancock's will have a batting sale Sept. 17th. So I will stock up and be ready. I am sewing a backing now...fun!
